I’m Joana Massana, also known as JoTita Gonçalves, and I’ve been passionate about writing since the age of 12. In 2012, I achieved a significant milestone by publishing my first book, “Confissões de uma adolescente,” in Portugal. Since then, I have never ceased writing, capturing my thoughts and ideas in blogs and filling numerous notebooks with my creative expressions.
My love for children and my enthusiasm for teaching have always been intertwined. For a long time, I aspired to combine these passions to make a positive impact on as many lives as possible. This year, I have made the firm decision to transform this dream into reality. I am dedicated to crafting short stories that not only entertain kids but also impart valuable and straightforward lessons, while fostering meaningful interactions between children and their parents. In today’s world, where technology has taken a significant toll on family communication, I aim to bridge that gap and enable families to spend quality time together once again.
Although children attend school, their parents remain their primary role models and caretakers. It is the responsibility of parents to be their children’s best teachers, equipping them with essential values, skills, and setting a positive example. Effective communication is the cornerstone of this process. Without it, it’s as if strangers reside within the same household, referring to you as “daddy” or “mummy.” My goal is to empower parents to reclaim their pivotal role in their children’s lives and create an enriching and nurturing environment that will positively shape their futures.
The aim of my book collections is to become an indispensable resource for countless families, in order to serve as a vital tool for the emotional, social and family growth and development of those involved.
